Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Object Oriented Desig and Database Design
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Requirements for the Role:

· Minimum 5+ years of C++ development on Linux platform

· Experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems

· Experience of exchange trading gateways and/or market data feed handlers

· Experience in low latency optimization and tuning techniques.

· Experience with low-level networks, multithreading, and asynchrony.

· Advanced Linux skills

· Knowledge of Linux OS architecture.

· Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP).

· Knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms.

· Understanding of technical documentation in English.

· Experience with FIX/FAST trading protocol advantageous

Highly desirable:

· Good knowledge of financial products desirable

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
